People tend to judge and evaluate another person based on their own perceptions and experiences in life...make sure that you can see the other person clearly and not colored by a brush dipped in misperception ...see from the heart and all things will be clear...~

Hi Debra,
ReplyDeleteYour post reminds of something similar from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, paraphrased: "It is only with the heart that one can see rightly."
I have never found more disappointment in the judgments of society than in becoming a mother. Parents often judge themselves harshly, and other parents even more so.
I broke with tradition by having my children at 41 and 44 (conceived naturally) and I’m aware of the social discrimination older parents are up against simply due to their age. I’m dedicated to providing support to my age group of parents and encouraging more positive social awareness of their strength as mothers and the unique gifts they offer their children. Would you both consider supporting us over-40 moms also?
We’re launching a new campaign to empower women who became moms after 40, or those who are planning to be, called A CHILD AFTER 40, for Mother’s Day 8th May. The video is very revealing and it’s getting a lot of interest! You can check it out at: http://www.flowerpowermom.com/a-child-after-40.
I'd also love to connect with you sometime if you're interested: angel at flowerpowermom dot com.
With gratitude, Angel
